SERVICES

GUEST HARBOUR:  No advance booking, only drop-in. Capacity for up to 65 boats. Harbour Office and washroom facilities.

RESTAURANT, PIZZA & ICE CREAM: There are several services provided in the white house next to the quay. Enjoy an ice cream or a pizza with a nice view or why not have a well-cooked lunch or dinner at the restaurant. 

GROCERY: Next to the restaurant you can find ‘Handlarn’ which offers groceries and freshly baked bread all year round.

MARINE FUEL STATION: Petrol, diesel and green diesel available

BOAT SUPPLIES: In ‘Skeppsfourneringen’, accessories for boats are sold, such as motor oil and boat batteries, as well as life jackets and clothing.

BOAT TRIPS

EVERY DAY IN SUMMER:

The beautiful old classic boat M/S Ellen af Harstena operates the route Fyrudden-Ämtö-Harstena every day of the week during the summer. Departure from Fyrudden at 10.00. The trip to Harstena takes a little more than an hour. Back in Fyrudden around 16.30.

MONDAYS:

Four Mondays in the middle of the summer, you can join M/S Ellen of Harstena for an evening cruise to ‘Allsång I Valdemarsvik’. Departure from Fyrudden at 16.00. Back in Fyrudden around 22.30.

THE POST BOAT:

The postal tour brings you through a large part of the archipelago while it delivers mail to a variety of islands. The boat departs at 11.00 and will be back in Fyrudden at approximately 14.00.
Departure every even week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Departure every odd week: Tuesday and Thursday 

THURSDAYS:

Explore the island of Häradskär and its lighthouse. Departure at 16.30 every Thursday in the summer. The boat trip takes 30 minutes. At Häradskär, the local guide will tell about history of the place including both pilots and lighthouse keepers, in addition we get to see experience lighthouse itself.

FRIDAYS:

On Fridays, M/S Ellen af Harstena departs from Fyrudden at 17.00 for an evening cruise to Harstena where we make a stop for three hours. There is live music on board and the bar is open. At Harstena you can explore the island, have a dinner at the restaurant or maybe just watch sunset. Back in Fyrudden after 22.00. 

SUNDAYS:

Join the seal safari tour for an interesting and exciting nature experience at the far end of the outer archipelago. The trip takes five and a half hours and includes two stops on Harstena with a guided tour as well time on your own. After the first stop, the boat continues out to the seal protection area of Sandsänkan. Then the boat returns to the island for a second stop. 
Back in Fyrudden at 21.30.
If you want to stay overnight on the island, M/S Ellen af Harstena will return at 15.00 on Monday.
